PROJECT DETAILS

Comments: This bridge belongs to the structural work for the project: "Design of new Highway between Nicosia-Palaixwri stages B & C" Cyprus. Bridge D2 is located between CH 9+984.17 and CH 10+122.56. Bridge has total length 140.0m and has divided into 5 spans with equal length 27.60m. Six precast prestressed beams have been foreseen for each span with total length L=27.80m. The depth of the beam has been designed to D=1.60m. Transverse beams with thickness 45cm, have been designed in the support location. Prestress is consisted from 3 cables 12T15 for each beam. Superstructure connected with the substructure with elastomeric bearings under each precast beam. Bridge foundation is with piles diameter D=100mm through pile cap system.
